Dr. Tanios completed his Internal Medicine residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI, followed by a fellowships in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and Sleep Medicine at Tufts Medical Center (TMC) in Boston, MA. During his fellowship, he received his MPH in Health Care Management and Policy from Tufts University School of Medicine. He served as Associate Director of the Medical Intensive Care Unit and Assistant Professor of Medicine at TMC. He later joined St. Mary Medical Center in Long Beach as Director of the Intensive Care Unit. He is Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at University of California, Irvine. He has received multiple research and teaching awards. When not caring for critically ill patients or teaching, Dr. Tanios enjoys biking, exercising, and working with his computer. |
