Tracie L. Augusta, CCRN, CNS, MSN, RN
Dr. Tracie L. Augusta is an acute care nurse practitioner and a clinical nurse specialist employed by the University of Memphis as a clinical assistant professor. She is certified in critical care and cardiac medicine by the American Association of Critical Care nurses. She is also a FCCS provider and instructor in the Memphis area. She has over 15 years of experience in critical care. She has served on both the Distance and Online Training committee and the Education and Training Steering Committee of the Society of Critical Care Medicine since 2008. Major accomplishments include program development of Memphis’ 1st hypothermia cooling program at Methodist University Hospital and expansion and full development of its Medical response team. Dr. Augusta is a graduate of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center where she obtained the doctor of nursing practice.
