Debra J. Skaar, PharmD​

Debra J. Skaar, PharmD, is an Assistant Professor of Experimental & Clinical Pharmacology at the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy.  Dr. Skaar serves as the Educational Coordinator for PharmD students at the University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview; she also directs an elective, Seminar in Critical Care and teaches in several sections of the Pharmacotherapy courses at the college.  Her research interests include novel methods to manage ICU anxiety and glycemic control in critically ill patients.  Dr. Skaar has served SCCM on the Congress Program Committee and is active in ACCP, the American College of Clinical Pharmacy.  Currently, she is the ACCP-University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy Student Liaison and serves as President of the Minnesota College of Clinical Pharmacy (MCCP).
