Adult Multiprofessional Critical Care Board Review Course On Demand

While board preparation can be stressful, MCCBRC On Demand creates a relaxed learning experience by allowing you to view all of the educational sessions that took place at the live event from the convenience of your home or office computer.

As a subscriber, you can access the entire board review course as if you were there. With searchable slide presentations and synchronized speaker audio for every lecture, you can access one particular lecture or all the presentations from the meeting’s many distinguished faculty, as many times as you wish.

Course Overview

For the past two decades there have been two outstanding review courses to help critical care fellows and attending physicians prepare for certification or recertification. Beginning in 2010, the Parrillo-Masur Board Review Course and the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM) Board Review Course will combine. Led by Founding Directors Joseph E. Parrillo, MD, FCCM, and Henry Masur, MD, FCCM, the new Parrillo-Masur-SCCM course will be known as the Adult Multiprofessional Critical Care Board Review Course (MCCBRC).

Featuring the best of both courses in terms of world-class faculty, audience response interactions and Web-based materials, the 2010 Adult MCCBRC will be the premier source for any critical care professional seeking the most comprehensive review in the diagnosis, monitoring and management of critically ill patients.

SCCM's Adult MCCBRC will provide you with the core knowledge you need to optimize your preparation for the critical care board review process. This course will deliver extensive coverage of core concepts in adult critical care, including cardiology, endocrinology, gastrointestinal disorders, infectious diseases, monitoring, neurology, nutrition, respiratory care, sepsis, and more.

Course Objectives

  • Discuss relevant clinical topics to prepare for the critical care subspecialty board examination
  • Assess the scientific foundations and literature evidence for the diagnosis, monitoring and management of patients with critical illness
  • Compare information amongst multiprofessional practitioners involved in the practice of critical care medicine
