
Critical Care Cross-Training for Hospital-Based non-ICU Healthcare Providers
Welcome to Critical Care Cross-Training for Hospital-Based Non-ICU Healthcare Providers. This course is intended to provide guidance to healthcare providers who do not regularly care for critically ill patients. The course is designed to facilitate the creation of multiprofessional collaborative teams dedicated to maximizing available ICU resources. This course does not prepare the participant to be an independent provider of critical care.
This activity is intended to apply strategies for managing adult and pediatric patients. Pre- and post-tests are included along with the presentations to help with individual self-assessment on this topic. Upon completion of this course, you will receive a certificate of course completion. This online course is available to participants at no charge.
You may apply for Continuing Education (CE/CME) and AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ contact hours. There is a $75 processing fee applied to the CE request. These contact hours are available as a benefit to those individuals desiring CE/CME for the maintenance of their licensure.
