Systems
An organ systems approach to patient care is a common practice. Using a systematic approach to evaluation of patient care provides an overview of the patient. This section will use the following systems to provide a unique opportunity to learn: neurology, respiratory, cardiovascular, renal/fluid & electrolyte, nutrition, infection/prevention/infection control, hematology, endocrine, integument, legal/ethical/organ donation, and end of life. Under each system, you can find evidence-based information, guidelines for providing optimal care, and patient-centered care approaches.
