This Web page links to courses designed to support basic knowledge of the fundamentals of the clinical practice of critical care. These courses are useful teaching tools for residents, fellows, and non-critical care practitioners and healthcare providers who care for the critically ill and/or injured in everyday practice.

 

The Pediatric Online ICU (PICU) course covers topics forming a core curriculum for the care of pediatric critical care patient’s.

 

The Pulmonary Artery Catheter Education Project (PACEP) provides a free, state-of-the-art educational program on use of the pulmonary artery catheter in the clinical environment and measuremeny of learning outcomes for the end-user.

 

Patient-centered Acute Care Training (PACT) is a multidisciplinary distance-learning program, developed in Scotland, for the practice of acute care medicine.

 

The Fundamental Critical Care Support (FCCS) course provides comprehensive coverage of fundamental management principles for the first 24 hours of critical care.

 

The Resident Online ICU (RICU) course consists of power point presentations on a number of topics, forming a core curriculum for the care of adult intensive care patients.

 

The Fundamentals of Disaster Management (FDM) course provide theoretical and practical training on life-sustaining critical care to critically ill or injured victims of disasters.
